GRAND-FATHER

This is a sequence of frames from a famous Russian internet horror animation/creepypasta called “ะ‘ะฐะฑัƒัˆะบะฐ, ั ัั…ะพะถัƒ ั ัƒะผะฐ” (“Grandma, I’m Going Crazy”) also known as “The Old Lady” or “Granny’s Insanity.”
It’s a short black-and-white animated story about an elderly woman (the “grandma” with glasses) who slowly descends into complete madness and suicide after reading a note left by her granddaughter.
Story summary (frame by frame):
1โ€“3. The grandma wakes up terrified, sweating, hearing noises, seeing shadows, and realizing something is wrong with the house.
4โ€“6. She finds monsters/hallucinations crawling on the walls and ceiling, panicking more and more.
7โ€“8. She discovers a table with pills and a glass of water.
9. She finds a note that says:
“ะ”ะพั€ะพะณะฐั ะฑะฐะฑัƒัˆะบะฐ, ั ัƒะตะทะถะฐัŽ ะฒ ะฟัƒั‚ะตัˆะตัั‚ะฒะธะต. ะขั‘ะฟะปั‹ะต ะฒะตั‰ะธ ะพัั‚ะฐะฒัŒ ัะตะฑะต.”
Translation: “My dear grandmother, I’m going on a trip. Keep the warm clothes for yourself.”
10โ€“14. She completely loses her mind, screams, tears her hair out, sees demonic versions of herself, smashes her head against the wall, and eventually hangs herself with her own warm robe (the one mentioned in the note).
15โ€“16. The final scenes show her corpse hanging while the granddaughter (implied to be the viewer) calmly returns home and puts away the “warm clothes.”
The twist/horror element is that the granddaughter deliberately drove her grandmother insane and to suicide by leaving that note, knowing the old woman was already paranoid and unstable.
It’s a classic early-2010s Russian shock/creepypasta animation, very short but extremely disturbing and effective. The exaggerated expressions and sudden escalation are intentional for maximum horror impact.
