This is a wholesome (and very relatable) comic story about a strict, overprotective mother and her nerdy son who is secretly addicted to playing Free Fire (a popular mobile battle-royale game).
The plot in order:
1. The boy lives next door to his crush/girl he likes. He spends all day staring at her house, dreaming about her, and studying hard because his mom forces him to become a doctor/dentist (“I wanna be a dentist” poster on the wall).
2. Mom is extremely controlling: turns off the lights at night, drags him inside, watches him study, forbids going out, etc.
3. But the boy has a secret passion: Free Fire. He plays whenever he can — hiding in the yard, late at night, even peeking through the window while pretending to study.
4. He gets really good at the game (“Aim right, Fire wise” — a play on the Free Fire slogan).
5. Eventually he sneaks out with friends to play together in real life (probably at a café or tournament). Mom catches them all on their phones and is furious.
6. But in the final panels we see the twist: years later the boy has grown up… and he’s now a pro gamer/streamer surrounded by his gaming squad, still happily playing Free Fire, while his mom can only watch from the doorway in disbelief.
7. The very last image shows the grown-up son waving goodbye to his mom as he leaves with his gamer friends — he finally escaped the “study or die” life and is living his dream.
Moral (or punchline): Sometimes the kid who was forced to study 24/7 and banned from games ends up making a career out of gaming anyway — and happier for it.
It’s a loving roast of Asian/tiger-parent culture mixed with every gamer kid’s revenge fantasy. Very popular in Southeast Asia where both strict parenting and Free Fire addiction are basically national sports.
