Horses are absolutely majestic creatures—graceful, powerful, and full of personality!
Here are a few fun facts to gallop your way:

Horses can sleep standing up thanks to a special “stay apparatus” in their legs that locks them in place, allowing quick escapes from predators. But they do lie down for deeper REM sleep.
They have incredible hearing, with 10 muscles per ear (humans have just 3), letting them rotate each ear independently almost 180 degrees.
Horses boast nearly 360-degree vision and excellent long-term memory—often better than many other animals.
The tallest horse ever recorded was a Shire named Sampson, standing at a whopping 21.2 hands (over 7 feet tall at the shoulder).
